Sandwich time!

For this quilt I used a Cal King sheet and taped it to the floor. I layered on top some unwashed Warm n Natural batting. Why unwashed? It seems to fluff up the quilt much nicer when the batting does some shrinking. If you'd like your quilt to lay very flat prewash your batting first. After that I layered on the pieced top and basted as usual (I do curved safety pins every 4-6").
